Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Warsaw

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland presents its compliments to the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Warsaw and with reference to Article 12 of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on extending a tied aid credit, done on January 22, 2008 in Hanoi, amended by the Understanding dated December 30, 2010, has the honour to propose on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Poland the following amendment to this Agreement:

Article 1.4 of the Agreement, amended by the Understanding dated December 30, 2010, will have the wording: "The credit shall be utilised by June 30, 2014.".

In case the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam accepts the above proposal, this note together with the note constituting the response of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will constitute the Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the amendment to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on extending a tied aid credit done on January 22, 2008 in Hanoi, amended by the Understanding dated December 30, 2010. The Understanding shall come into force on the date of the receipt of the later note with the response of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Warsaw the assurances of its highest consideration.

Ministerstwo Finansów Socjalistycznej Republiki Wietnamu niniejszym potwierdza swoją akceptację dla warunków określonych w nocie szanownego Ministerstwa o numerze DPT.2701.20.2013/4 z dnia 4 lipca 2013 roku. Odpowiednio, okres wykorzystania Kredytu w ramach Umowy z dnia 22 stycznia 2008 roku będzie przedłużony do dnia 30 czerwca 2014 roku i pierwsze zdanie Artykułu 1.4 będzie brzmiało: „Kredyt będzie wykorzystany do dnia 30 czerwca 2014 r.”.

Zmiany wejdą w życie z datą otrzymania przez szanowne Ministerstwo tejże noty werbalnej.

Ministerstwo Finansów Socjalistycznej Republiki Wietnamu korzysta z okazji, aby ponowić Ministerstwu Spraw Zagranicznych Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej zapewnienie o swoim najwyższym szacunku.

The Ministry of Finance of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and has the honor to refer to the Agreement between. the Governinent of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Republic of Poland on extending a tied aid credit, done on January 22, 2008 in Hanoi as follows:

The Ministry of Finance of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam hereby confirms our acceptance of the terms set out in your esteemed Ministry” note number DPT.2701.20.2013/4 dated July 04, 2013. Accordingly, the Credit utilization period under the Agreement dated January 22, 2008 shall be extended to June 30, 2014 and the first sentence of the Article 1.4 shall be read as: "The Credit shall be utilized by June 30, 2014”.

The changes shall come into force on the date of your esteemed Ministry's receipt of this verbal note.
