Umawiające się Strony będą bezpłatnie wymieniać publikacje naukowe, czasopisma,

materiały z sympozjów naukowych i diafilmy. Artykuł 2

Umawiające się Strony będą każdego roku wymieniać specjalistów, na łączny okres 30 dni, w celu podnoszenia kwalifikacji, zapoznawania się z osiągnięciami

naukowymi i doświadczeniami.

Umawiające się Strony, do końca marca każdego roku, będą wymieniać listy

delegowanych specjalistów. Artykuł 3

Strona wysyłająca zapewni, że osoby uczestniczące w wymianie w ramach niniejszego Protokołu będą posiadały ubezpieczenie (polisę) na wypadek nagłych zachorowań lub nieszczęśliwego wypadku, chyba że prawo do świadczeń zdrowotnych wynika

z przepisów kraju przyjmującego.

. Na prośbę jednej z Umawiających się Stron druga Umawiająca się Strona przyjmie

pacjentów na leczenie w swoich specjalistycznych szpitalach i sanatoriach na koszt Strony wysyłającej. Strona wysyłająca przekaże Stronie przyjmującej wszystkie niezbędne informacje o pacjentach, w języku rosyjskim lub angielskim, a wysłanie pacjentów będzie realizowane tylko w przypadku zgody Strony przyjmującej, która

określi koszty leczenia.

Artykuł 4

. Strona wysyłająca pokryje koszty podróży specjalistów, o których mowa w artykule

I ustęp 3 i w artykule 2.

. Strona przyjmująca opłaci koszty hotelu, koszty transportu wewnątrz kraju oraz

wypłaci diety zgodnie z obowiązującymi przepisami wewnętrznymi.

Artykuł 5

Umawiające się Strony będą popierać współpracę w zakresie polityki łekowej obu Państw.

Umawiające się Strony będą popierać wymianę doświadczeń w zakresie akupunktury

jako metody wspomagającej leczenie. Artykuł 7

W czasie obowiązywania niniejszego Protokołu Umawiające się Strony mogą realizować także inne przedsięwzięcia, które będą uzgadniane i zaakceptowane przez obie Umawiające

się Strony. Artykuł 8 1. Niniejszy Protokół wchodzi w życie z dniem podpisania i obowiązuje przez okres trzech lat.

2. Jeżeli żadna z Umawiających się Stron nie wypowie Protokołu drogą pisemnego powiadomienia na trzy miesiące przed upływem terminu jego ważności, Protokół

będzie przedłużony na następne trzy lata. Artykuł 9

Wypowiedzenie niniejszego Protokołu o współpracy nie naruszy realizacji programów i przedsięwzięć, które zaczęto realizować w czasie obowiązywania Protokołu,

chyba że Umawiające się Strony postanowią inaczej.

Niniejszy Protokół sporządzono w Ułan Bator dnia 2 September 2005 roku w dwóch egzemplarzach, każdy w języku polskim, mongolskim i angielskim, przy czym wszystkie teksty posiadają jednakową moc. W razie rozbieżności przy ich interpretowaniu

tekst w języku angielskim uważany będzie za rozstrzygający.

PROTOCOL ON CO-OPERATION BETWEEN 'THE MINISTER OF HEALTH OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND AND THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF MONGOLIA FOR THE YEARS 2005 — 2007

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Health of Mongolia, hereinafter referred to as the „Contracting Parties”, in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement on Co-operation in the Field of Culture, Education and Science of 9 December 1999, in order to develop mutuałły beneficiał and effective co-operation in the field of health and medica! sciences, have agreed on the following Protocol on Co-operation

for the years 2005-2007: Article 1

1. The Contracting Parties shall exchange information concerning methods and forms of management of heałth care, medical sciences and experiences and results achieved in

these fields.

2. The Contracting Parties shałl promote direct co-operation between health care institutions whose activity is related to different methods of treatment and shall cooperate in the following areas:

1) education of nurses and their lecturers,

2) anaesthesiołogy and intensive care,

3) rehabilitation,

4) hygiene and health education, education of health education trainers,

5) infections and communicable diseases, particułarly SARS and AIDS,

6) addictions” treatment (alcohol and drugs),

7) mental health,

8) mother and chiłd care,

9) exchange of medicał doctors and experts performing medicał professions,

10) co-operation and education of specialists in the field of public health, as well as

control and research in the field of hygiene and epidemiology.

3. The Contracting Parties shall mutualły invite scientists and specialists for scientific "meetings, symposia, conferences and other scientific undertakings organised in their

respective countries.

4. The Contracting Parties shall exchange, free of charge, scientific publications,

magazines, materials from scientific meetings and diafilms. Article 2

l. The Contracting Parties shall exchange speciałists each year, for a total period of 30 days, in order to improve qualifications, familiarise with scientific achievements and

experiences.

2. The Contracting Parties, by the end of March of each year, shalł exchange the lists ot

dełegated specialists. Article 3

1. The Sending Party shall ensure that persons participating in the exchange provided for in this Protocol shall possess an accident or abrupt illness insurance unless the right to

medical services results from tegal regulations of the Receiving State.

2. Upon the request of one of the Contracting Parties, the other Contracting Party shall receive patients for treatment in specialist hospitals and health resorts at the expense of the Sending Party. The Sending Party shall transfer to the Receiving Party all necessary. information concerning patients in the Russian or English language, and the sending of patients will be executed only upon the consent of the Receiving Party, who shall

determine the costs of treatment. Article 4

1. The Sending Party shall cover the costs of travel of specialists referred to in article 1 point 3 and in article 2. 2. The Receiving Party shall cover the costs of hotel, costs of transportation within its

territory and shall pay allowance (diet) in accordance with binding internal regulations.

Article 5 The Contracting Parties shall promote co-operation in the field of drug policy of both States.

Article 6

The Contracting Parties shall promote the co-operation in the field of acupuncture as

a method supplementing treatment. Article 7

During the operation of this Protocol, the Contracting Parties may execute also other

undertakings, which shall be agreed upon and approved by both Contracting Parties. Article 8

1. This Protocol shall enter into force on the day of its conclusion and shall be valid for

the period of three years.

2. If none of the Parties terminates the Protocol by means of a written notice, three months

prior to its expiration, the Protocol shall be extended for the next three years. Article 9

The termination of this Protocol on co-operation shall not disturb the execution of programmes and undertakings, whose execution was initiated during the operation of the

Protocol, unless the Contracting Parties shall decide differently. This Protocoł was signed in Ulaanbaatar on 2** September 2005 in two copies, both in the Polish, Mongolian and English languages, all texts being equally authentic. In case of

differences in interpretation the English text shall prevail.
